Carlisle CSD School Board Names Erik Anderson as Next District Superintendent

Erik AndersonAdditionally, Anderson has led Colfax-Mingo CSD students, staff, and families through the transition to a standards-based grading model, while creating and facilitating differentiated professional development for staff.
 
Earlier in his career, Anderson served as associate principal and principal of Cedar Rapids Prairie High School. He received the Iowa BIGee for Outstanding Administrative Support in 2016 and the University of Northern Iowa Legacy Award in 2015. Anderson holds a master’s degree in administrative leadership and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, both from UNI.
 
The Board of Education worked with Grundmeyer Leader Services to conduct the search. The process included a community-wide survey, asking district residents to provide their input on the qualities and characteristics they would like to see in the district’s next leader. The board held interviews with the three finalists on Wednesday, April 27.
 
Anderson will begin serving the Carlisle Community School District effective July 1, 2022.
